Introduction to LifeGroups

What is a life group?
A LIFE group (or simply “life group”) is a small group of believers (3-4) that regularly gather together to help each other grow as disciples of Christ.

We genuinely believe that this simple idea will have a meaningful impact on your life and are thrilled to invite you to be a part of a life group.  We will begin by looking at the big picture elements of these groups, the Mission and Vision statements.  Once we have the big picture in mind, we will start filling in the details through the rest of the document.  By the end, we hope you are as excited as we are to jump in and experience a group for yourself!

Mission
To stir up daily Christ centered growth in each other.

This mission has been woven into every part of life groups.  If something we do in these groups ever makes you stop and wonder why we do it, you should expect this mission to be part of the answer.

Vision
To see disciples of Jesus Christ growing in spiritual maturity and equipped to make disciples, beginning with our local church, and expanding towards all nations.

Even though life groups are designed to have an immediate impact on how you live day to day, we also want to look ahead to the future.  There are many ways to fulfill the Mission of life groups, so this Vision helps us focus on what is not only good for you now, but what will continue to bear fruit in the future, and even impact the lives of those around you.
